Heritage Park is within 2 miles where there is a lake, walking paths, etc. There are plenty of activities in the KC area that are within a 30-40 minute drive. The Country Club Plaza, Boulevard Brewery, The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, The Power and Light Entertainment District, Nelson-Atkins Art Museum, KC Zoo, Arabia Steamboat Museum, The World War 1 Museum, City Market, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and lots more. Plus...BBQ, lots and lots of BBQ. This is a single family residence, with a finished daylight lower level. Newly remodeled with a Bohemian eclectic flare, full of color and light. Three other bedrooms and a sleeping porch are also available. There are two tandem bicycles available for you to ride around our quint community and see the sights.

The Baldwin House with a Peach Floor is a Victorian house built in 1907. The house has been well maintained and still sports original beautiful woodwork, radiator heating, and a fabulous sleeping porch. The house has been in our family since 1968 and is family owned and operated now. You will have use of the entire house. Furnishings in the house are eclectic with an artsy Victorian BoHo flair. The home sports three full bedrooms, a sleeping porch, and a Victorian BoHo hippie pad in the attic that is available to groups over five. Hopefully you will be able to enjoy the large sleeping porch off of Steph’s Room. There are two full beds on the porch. Perfect for reading, telling stories, and just enjoying the weather, without being directly outside. The sleeping porch does not have air conditioning or heat, keep that in mind when booking for more than five people. Groups over 5 can use the attic boho hippie pad. Vaughn’s bedroom on the second floor sleeps two with a double bed, Steph’s bedroom sleeps one with a twin bed (The sleeping porch is off Steph’s room), downstairs is Joe’s room which has a private bath and includes a queen bed. The house is serviced by ac window units, not central air. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to cook and bake. Self-serve breakfast items are available. There is a tandem bicycle available that you are encouraged to use! Pedal around our little town and see all the sites, including the beautiful Baker University Campus. You are free to use the brick patio, which is spacious and perfect for spring and fall dinning.

All appliances, HVAC, and hot water tank were replaced. All new flooring, doors, and windows as well. If you are looking for a clean, well-kept home in the Kansas City Metro this is the one. There are 3 bedrooms that sleep 2 each, so there is plenty of room for the entire family. If a 4th bed is needed please let me know and I will have an air mattress setup in the family room. There is a first floor laundry room. Also a mud room, where lake towels, volleyball, badminton rackets, and beach chairs are stored. A second full bath is on the main level, too. Just off the kitchen is a deck with a wrought-iron round table with umbrella and 4 chairs, 5 side chairs with 4 side tables, and a lounge chair. There is a Traeger pellet grill and Bose outdoor speakers on the deck. A charcoal Weber grill is available upon request. Due to insurance regulations, it must be used on the front driveway and not on the wood deck. Upstairs, overlooking the lake, you will find the master bedroom with a split-king adjustable bed with massage option, en suite master bathroom and a sitting room with gas fireplace. The master bathroom offers a tub, double vanity and separate glass enclosed shower. Three guest bedrooms overlook the soybean field at the front of the house. One bedroom has a queen bed and a crib. It has a full bath (tub/shower and vanity) and a walk-in closet. The other two guest bedrooms share a full bathroom(shower and double vanity) and each has two twin beds that can be converted to one king bed, and a set of bunk beds with a trundle bed (3 single beds). Downstairs, is the home theatre with comfortable leather recliners, a double chaise sectional leather sofa, a pub table with 4 bar stools, and a theater popcorn machine. An X-Box with a DVD player and a Nintendo Switch are available to use. There is an additional downstairs room/6th bedroom with an American Leather Queen Comfort Sleeper sofa bed and a full bath (shower and vanity). The rec room has a smart TV above a gas fireplace, an American Leather Queen Comfort Sleeper sofa bed, ping pong table, a Kawai console piano, and a door that opens to the back yard. All 6 bedrooms have ceiling fans, as does the Great Room, the sunroom and the kitchen dining area. The private 10 acre lake is about 45 yards from the house. There is a dock for sunbathing, fishing, swimming or for mooring the boats. Complimentary boats include one canoe, one paddleboat, and one vintage Sunfish sailboat (from the 1970's). There is also a small sandy beach. Life jackets are stored in the storage unit on the dock..There is an USCG-approved life ring mounted at the dock, if needed. A complimentary 2015 Yamaha 48V electric all-terrain golf cart is available upon request, ( assuming it is in good working order) for those guests who are 16+ years old. The golf cart must not leave the property-- driving it on a public road is prohibited. A playground area with a wood fort and 2 slides and a swing is located near the front yard. All boats, the golf cart and the playground equipment are to be used "at your own risk." There are 2 outdoor security cameras, one on the front porch and one on the deck. There are no indoor cameras. Guest access This property sits on 80 acres with plenty of woods, creeks, and trails around the lake to explore. It is a family paradise for outdoor and lake activities!
